INSPIRATION
My references were ‘Meshes of the Afternoon’ for canted and dreamy framing, ‘Raising Victor Vargas’ for realism and handheld work, ‘Death Becomes Her’ for filmic skin tones and diffusion, all the while overall being an ode to an awkward telenovela (with a touch of DV work for flashbacks to boot).
